Changing World
Absolutely nothing to do with divorce, but I only slept 4 hours last night and woke up to a different world. Castro, who has been president of Cuba for as long as I can remember, has resigned and President Musharraf conceded defeat in the Pakistani elections. Nearer home Guy Verhofstadt has also announced his resignation as prime minister of Belgium on 20 March.

But Fee....these boring old gits have had no real effect on your life, or your divorce, so how on earth can you say that your world has changed?
Okay so Musharraf probably liked curry, and that stands in his favour, but the bloke had a moustache and that was not a good thing.
P has spoken.
LOL - On a personal note one of my first memories of current affairs was my family living in Florida a few years after the Bay of Pigs and a picture of Castro's right hand man, Che Guevara, was on my student flat wall for years. Our son went AWOL in Kashmir last summer so the political situation in Pakistan/India was really brought home. I have several clients in Belgium so could be affected by political change there and our daughter's boyfriend is Flemish. I just read the news before going to bed about 3am and when I got up a 7 am it felt as thought the world had changed.
Don't world politics affect us all in some way?
Doh - typos! But you get the gist.
